O'Grady was born to Jim O'Grady and Jan O'Grady. Jim O'Grady works as a financial advisor. The family was raised by her parents within Wheaton (Illinois) where she was a graduate of the North High School in Wheaton. Before moving to Los Angeles, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Her career O'Grady started her career as models for Montgomery Ward, and well making several commercials.
